[2026-2027] Lead Teacher - Middle School

Location: New York City, USA; onsite work with travel to hirify.global schools required

Salary: $70,829–$136,704 per year

What you will do

• Teach a rigorous college-preparatory middle school curriculum aligned with school and New York State standards.
• Deliver engaging instruction that develops academic and character skills.
• Use student data and ongoing assessments to guide instructional decisions.
• Communicate student progress and results to families and colleagues.
• Provide individual or small-group instruction for students requiring additional support.
• Collaborate with teachers and model hirify.global character strengths in interactions with students, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area.
• At least two years of teaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a collegial, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated success in raising student achievement within hirify.global communities.
• Existing US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship and work authorization are not offered.
