Sr. Manager, Planning Process Improvement & Digitalization (SAP)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $141,600–$212,400 base salary per year, plus eligible bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the center of excellence for Planning teams and drive consistent processes, best-practice adoption, and cross-functional alignment.
• Own the Planning process and technology roadmap, including optimization of SAP IBP and SAP ECC/S/4 usage.
• Assess, prioritize, execute, and report on improvement initiatives requested by operational Planning teams.
• Manage and develop a team of Planning process experts and create training plans for operational teams.
• Partner with Planning, IT, Analytics, Finance, and Operational Excellence teams on process and technology improvements.
• Maintain Planning policies, playbooks, work instructions, governance systems, monitoring, reporting, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Planning business processes and the relationship between technology and operations.
• Operational experience in at least one Planning discipline and technical, functional, and operational experience with a leading ERP system.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Demonstrated experience with process mapping, continuous improvement initiatives, and/or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of related experience, including 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments is preferred; direct SAP IBP and SAP ECC/S/4 experience is a plus.
