Senior Claims Advocate

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three in-office days per week.

What you will do

• Manage and advocate for complex workers’ compensation and liability claims from initial reporting through final resolution.
• Advise clients on claim costs, injury and incident management, return-to-work strategies, liability exposure, and risk reduction.
• Coordinate with carriers, third-party administrators, attorneys, client risk, safety, legal, and HR teams on claim handling and resolution.
• Prepare reserve, settlement, claim review, and analytics reports with practical recommendations.
• Identify cross-line claim trends and implement strategies to reduce claim frequency, severity, and loss experience.
• Support denial challenges, settlement negotiations, mediations, escalated cases, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–10 years of claims experience across workers’ compensation and liability lines, including general liability and auto claims.
• Experience in a brokerage, third-party administrator, or carrier environment.
• Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional workers’ compensation and liability laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong client-facing communication, relationship-building, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to analyze loss data, conduct claim reviews, identify trends, and prepare reports.
• Proficiency with claims management systems, Excel, and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, or a related field.
• Industry designation such as AIC, ARM, CPCU, or CLCS.
