Case Manager II, Claims Management

Location: Onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Review claim reports, investigate cases, determine compensability, and assess compliance with jurisdictional statutes.
• Manage mid-complexity workers’ compensation and general liability claims through the full claim lifecycle.
• Establish and adjust reserves within authority limits, escalating claims that exceed approved thresholds.
• Authorize and monitor medical treatment, calculate wages, and issue indemnity payments according to applicable regulations.
• Communicate with claimants, internal stakeholders, legal counsel, safety teams, external carriers, and other involved parties.
• Negotiate settlements, present claims for approval, maintain documentation and licensure, and support process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus at least one year of experience in claims management, insurance operations, or a related area; alternatively, three years of relevant experience.
• Current or recently held Property & Casualty Adjuster License, held within the past three years.
• Experience with claims investigations, resolution, and case management in workers’ compensation or general liability.
• Knowledge of medical treatment authorization using Official Disability Guidelines and nurse resources.
• Ability to adjudicate claims, establish reserves within financial authority, manage a mid-complexity caseload, and meet performance goals.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, investigative, and relationship-management skills.
