Salary: $80,000–$110,000

What you will do

• Adjust and resolve moderate to complex claims, managing all phases of litigation.
• Draft coverage letters, including reservation of rights and denial letters, with minimal supervision.
• Review and analyze claim documentation and legal filings to set timely and accurate reserves.
• Drive litigation best practices to manage defense counsel utilization.
• Identify emerging exposure trends and suspected fraudulent claims.
• Participate in cross-functional claims projects as needed.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of claims handling experience in commercial general liability with an insurance carrier.
• Active insurance adjuster’s license.
• Advanced knowledge of claims analysis, adjusting practices, and legal filing standards.
• Proven ability to actively and effectively negotiate settlements.
• Experience in mentoring and training other claims examiners.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
