Senior Auto & General Liability Claims Adjuster

Location: Lawrenceville, GA, United States; hybrid onsite two days per week. Overnight travel may be required up to 10%, along with daily travel between locations.

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze medium-complexity commercial auto and general liability claims, including litigated files.
• Identify coverage, evaluate liability and damages, and review claim documents and legal pleadings.
• Develop action plans, negotiate with involved parties, and settle claims within established guidelines.
• Establish and maintain accurate reserves reflecting each claim’s financial exposure.
• Address contractual indemnification and additional insured coverage issues with internal partners.
• Collaborate with agents, policyholders, internal stakeholders, external resources, and counsel to resolve claims and control costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of experience handling general liability and/or bodily injury claims of medium complexity or severity.
• Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required.
• Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 10% and travel daily between locations.

Nice to have

• AIC or SLA certification.
• Experience handling claims involving risk transfer, subcontractors, and general contractors.
