Production Maintenance Technician I

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin, United States; onsite work in a manufacturing facility

Employment type: Full time, A-night shift, with potential overtime including weekends based on production needs.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and replacement of worn components.
• Assist experienced technicians with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform basic plumbing, welding, light-duty electrical work, mechanical assembly, and operation of industrial equipment.
• Install or relocate production equipment and related facilities.
• Follow lockout-tagout, confined-space, and other safety procedures while documenting completed work and findings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–10 years of maintenance experience, including mechanic apprenticeship time.
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to follow blueprints and interpret work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance methods.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery, loud noise, varying temperatures, and production dust.
