BESS Senior Project Engineer (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Holbrook, Arizona, United States

Salary: $90,468–$113,085 per year

What you will do

• Perform project engineering responsibilities and support the Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager.
• Manage project filing systems, drawings, specifications, logs, redlines, permit sets, and subcontractor documentation.
• Conduct QA/QC and SWPP field inspections, prepare checklists, and track non-conforming reports and corrective actions.
• Evaluate field problems, prepare RFIs, review and transmit submittals, and maintain related logs.
• Collect testing and equipment calibration records, organize progress photos, and prepare quality and progress reporting materials.
• Compile closeout documentation, track punch-list work, mentor new Project Engineers, and contribute to field standards and work instructions.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture; a construction management certificate or equivalent experience is also considered.
• At least two years of experience as a Project Engineer and demonstrated field experience.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills, with the ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Computer skills, independent judgment, and a self-starter approach are required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
