General Superintendent - EDU K-14 (DSA)

What you will do

• Oversee on-site execution, mobilization, kickoff, operations, and closeout of assigned construction projects.
• Supervise, mentor, train, evaluate, and assign field personnel while supporting hiring and workforce planning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, unions, city departments, agencies, and internal project teams.
• Develop and implement jobsite safety plans and quality standards while monitoring compliance with company and contract requirements.
• Manage labor productivity, resources, procurement, purchasing, costs, schedules, estimating, and project budgets.
• Lead project reviews, preconstruction activities, operations meetings, business development efforts, and resolution of complex field issues.

Requirements

• Experience with K-14 projects under DSA is required.
• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of extensive field construction experience, including supervisory experience.
• Experience leading field operations and supervising multiple projects across a large geographic area.
• Working knowledge of construction crafts, trade specifications, building systems, OSHA laws, and building codes.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, collaboration, contract law, project accounting, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating skills.
