Pile Install Superintendent, SDI Services

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Peoria, Illinois. The posting header also lists Sacramento, California.

Salary: $107,757–$140,084 per year.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and oversee solar construction, foundation drilling, and pile installation operations.
• Lead construction crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret geotechnical data, select drilling methods, and optimize foundation designs.
• Develop schedules, budgets, resource plans, reports, and project updates.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor soil conditions and drilling progress, and maintain construction quality.
• Enforce safety protocols, manage equipment and supplies, and resolve technical or equipment issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus four years of related experience; relevant foundation drilling or construction project management experience may substitute for formal education.
• Experience with foundation drilling, construction project management, drilling equipment, maintenance procedures, and grouting.
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, construction plans, specifications, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and basic project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, independent working, problem-solving, decision-making, and resource management skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Union-related experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification, relevant state licensure, or foundation drilling and construction management certifications.
