Facilities Technician III (Building 22)

Location: Full-time, on-site in Mentor, Ohio, USA. Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with flexible hours, overtime, and 24/7 on-call support as required.

Salary: $59,625–$89,040 per year.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of building equipment, fixtures, utilities, and grounds.
• Maintain building security and fire protection systems while coordinating outside contractors across multiple trades.
• Monitor facility expenses, review invoices, and support the Annual Operating Plan.
• Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety programs, including emergency response, risk assessments, and job safety analysis.
• Provide facilities support across Northeast Ohio locations, including operational tasks and moving furniture or equipment.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent required; relevant licensing, such as forklift certification, as needed.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, project coordination, and office services.
• Broad knowledge of facilities operating systems and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Advanced experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and local fire safety codes.
• Ability to work independently, resolve advanced technical issues, and provide leadership and mentoring.
• Strong communication, organizational, computer, and function-specific software skills.
