Plant Human Resources Manager (Martinsburg)

Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia, USA; onsite

Salary: $91,200–$175,000 annually for Zone C; other U.S. salary zones may apply based on work location. The role is also eligible for participation in incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead plant HR operations, including employee engagement, talent strategy, pay, benefits, leave, policies, and leadership support.
• Partner with plant leadership on recruiting, retention, workforce planning, and current and future talent needs.
• Manage end-to-end recruiting for production workers and support recruiting for non-production plant roles.
• Handle employee questions, policy interpretation, employee relations, discipline, terminations, and conflict resolution.
• Analyze personnel data such as hiring, turnover, and absenteeism, and recommend improvements.
• Develop learning and development programs and supervise subordinate staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of human resources management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, conflict resolution, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, with the ability to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
