Operations Supervisor

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; onsite, 2nd shift starting at 11:31 a.m. until end of shift

Salary: $25.72–$33.45 per hour; starting rate of $26.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential

Provides distribution and fulfillment services for dental, production-animal, and companion-animal supplies and equipment.

What you will do

• Supervise daily warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns.
• Maintain accurate records, perform audits and cycle counts, and resolve inventory, product placement, expiration, shortage, and damage issues.
• Manage unloading, staging, storage, put-away, production flow, facility organization, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Assign work, determine staffing levels, communicate operational information, and hold associates accountable for performance.
• Train, coach, mentor, evaluate, and support the development of warehouse associates.
• Correct timecards, address employee issues, support disciplinary and promotion recommendations, and participate in emergency response and on-call duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a hirify.global Fulfillment Center or equivalent experience.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift, remain on foot for more than six hours per day, and lift and carry up to 55 pounds; team lifting is required for 56–100 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth on the 2nd shift and make at least two trips per year within the United States.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Previous experience with SAP and inventory systems.
• Previous management experience.
