Guidewire Solution Architect - Property/Casualty (Guidewire)

Location: Bloomington, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Base pay range: $138,800–$190,850 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design solutions by gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Provide technical direction for the development and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter supporting farm and commercial lines.
• Develop and implement high-performing software solutions that meet technical standards and best practices.
• Coordinate delivery across business partners, technology teams, system integrators, and software vendors.
• Support testing, debugging, performance problem-solving, and resolution of complex production issues.
• Present process diagrams, impact analyses, delivery updates, and recommendations to leadership and business audiences.

Requirements

• Typically 14+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Expert knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, including configuration, integrations, and cloud implementations.
• Experience with commercial lines property/casualty insurance products.
• Experience collaborating with developers on technical requirements, data model changes, code reviews, and code quality.
• Experience with large, strategic, multi-phase projects involving multiple teams and 50+ employees.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with Agile, SAFe, Rally, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, BitBucket, and GitLab.
