Associate, Electrical

Location: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada — 1515 Douglas Street

Salary: $105,200–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the execution of commercial and institutional electrical building projects, from functional programming and business cases to major renovations and additions.
• Coordinate technical design, team targets, personnel matters, business development, and sales and marketing activities with the Team Lead.
• Develop and administer procedures and systems for team management.
• Prepare workload plans, sales forecasts, resource schedules, and administrative and managerial plans.
• Act as the principal liaison for selected clients and major projects.
• Manage construction administration, including site meetings, site reviews, shop drawings, RFIs, and progress claims.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of North American electrical building design experience.
• Project management experience.
• Responsibility for engineering, specifications, documentation, standardization, quality assurance, cost analysis, and value analysis.
• Knowledge of Passive House, LEED, Net Zero Carbon, and ASHRAE 90.1.
• Ability to work at the Victoria, British Columbia location.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer or AScT designation.
• Electrical contracting experience.
