What you will do
- Set up dies and start up or shut down metal stamping machines.
- Change coils, tooling, feeders, and modules across Bihler, Lens, Finzer, BMS, Spako, and Ing Yu machines.
- Un-jam, troubleshoot, repair, and regrind dies for production equipment.
- Operate overhead cranes and retrieve tooling from the Lean Lift.
- Ensure compliance with ICM master, process, and product safety manuals.
- Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, visual checks, and Fastcheck data entry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferably at least three years of experience as a die setter in a metal stamping manufacturing facility.
- Assembly, inspection, mathematics, and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to measure products against print and engineering specifications.
