Fabricator I

Location: Onsite at Sedalia DC, Sedalia, Missouri, USA

Salary: $21.50/hour, plus monthly incentive payments based on operational metrics after the 90-day probationary period.

What you will do

• Cut rope to customer-specified lengths using chop saws and measuring tools.
• Assist with pressing and installing buttons to defined diameter requirements.
• Strip plastic coatings and apply protective coatings or paint to rope and button assemblies.
• Train for and obtain annual welding certification while performing fabrication work.
• Complete visual quality inspections and follow safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
• Operate hand tools and entry-level fabrication equipment while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated basic literacy and math proficiency.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and measurements, with mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn fabrication skills and processes.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, work with hands, and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent English and unrestricted legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to complete post-offer background, drug, and physical screenings.

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience.
