Senior Subcontract Engineer (EPC)

Location: Project sites in the UAE; company office listed in Koropi, Athens, Greece. The role is based at project sites and requires onsite work.

What you will do

• Source bidders from approved vendor lists and issue requests for quotation in line with project subcontract strategies.
• Draft and negotiate subcontracts, services agreements, charter parties agreements, and hire agreements.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and contractual clarifications with subcontractors and internal departments.
• Manage post-award activities, deliverables, variations, claims, contractual correspondence, and risk mitigation.
• Review subcontractor reports, lead regular meetings, and monitor contractual rights, duties, and performance.
• Manage subcontract closeout documentation, taking-over and final acceptance certificates, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• BSc engineering degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering.
• At least 15 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a subcontract engineer, contract engineer, or in a similar role.
• Essential experience with leading EPC contractors in the energy sector; GCC experience is preferred.
• Strong contractual, written, verbal communication, cooperation, and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of ERP software and Microsoft Office, with basic knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
• Fluent English, both oral and written, is required.
