What you will do
- Develop and execute end-to-end category strategies for raw materials, indirect services, and subcontractors using total cost of ownership and long-term value analysis.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement leaner, faster procure-to-pay cycles.
- Build procurement dashboards using advanced Excel, Google Sheets, Power Query, Power Pivot, data modeling, and Power BI.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from stakeholder requirements through vendor performance and contract oversight.
- Manage supplier rate changes, logistics disruptions, critical spare parts sourcing, and outsourced processing to protect contribution margins and maintain plant continuity.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and senior leadership on procurement insights, function-versus-cost analysis, complex negotiations, and should-cost modeling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or strategic capacity and mandatory UAE market experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expert-level Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and data modeling.
- Deep familiarity with ERP systems and strong interest or experience in AI transformation, predictive analytics, and process automation.
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, communication, and emotional intelligence skills, including the ability to work with C-suite stakeholders.
- CIPS Level 4/5 or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
