BSN Instructor- Per Diem (Saturday Overnights)

Location: Murray, UT, USA; campus-based position with Saturday overnight shifts

What you will do

• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations in collaboration with other instructors.
• Maintain attendance records, grades, clinical documentation, skills check-off forms, and program reports.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences at assigned healthcare facilities.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and healthcare facility needs and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Support faculty orientation, student advising, instructional planning, committee activities, and ongoing communication with students.

Requirements

• Active, valid nursing license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or a higher degree from an accredited college or university, including coursework in nursing, education, administration, OB, pediatrics, or psychiatry.
• At least four years of direct patient-care experience as a registered nurse.
• At least one year of clinical experience within the last five years; clinical teaching may count toward direct patient care.
• Expertise in psychiatric nursing, geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, OB-Gyn, or mental health.
• No previous teaching experience is required; faculty development training is provided.
