Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)

Location: Onsite clinical teaching in Greenville, South Carolina, USA

Salary: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hours assigned to the course.

What you will do

• Teach adult health and medical-surgical nursing in a clinical setting.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise students providing nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Orient students to clinical agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Prepare clinical assignments and grade coursework, tests, lab assignments, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical personnel, course coordinators, and academic leadership on student and agency matters.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered registered nursing license in South Carolina.
• At least two years of recent professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Teaching or precepting experience.
