Location: In-person clinical teaching in inpatient healthcare settings in the Springfield or Peoria, Illinois areas, USA

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment

What you will do

• Mentor BSN students during Advanced Adult Health clinical experiences in inpatient healthcare centers.
• Implement the nursing curriculum, program outcomes, course objectives, and clinical teaching plan.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision, evaluation, and documented feedback.
• Prepare clinical assignments, support student remediation, and review written coursework and clinical paperwork.
• Coordinate with clinical-site personnel regarding policies, procedures, expectations, and student issues.
• Contribute to program development, assessment, retention efforts, regulatory compliance, and college operations.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional RN nursing license in Illinois required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• At least two years of professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Strong clinical experience; teaching experience is not required.
