Complex Health Clinical Nursing Instructor (Albuquerque, NM)

Location: Albuquerque, NM, USA; in-person clinical teaching at an inpatient clinical setting in the Alamogordo, NM area.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach Complex Adult Health Critical Care in inpatient clinical settings.
• Mentor BSN nursing students and connect classroom and simulation learning with patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision, evaluation, remediation, and documented feedback.
• Orient students and maintain knowledge of clinical-site policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Support curriculum implementation, program assessment, retention initiatives, and college development.
• Collaborate with course coordinators, administrators, staff, and faculty while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional RN license in New Mexico.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for currently licensed Illinois faculty.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Teaching experience is not required.
