Location: New York City, New York, USA; based in NYC with travel to hirify.global schools required.

Salary: $70,829–$136,704 per year, determined by relevant experience, New York State certification, and KIPP network longevity.

What you will do

• Teach a rigorous college preparatory English Language Arts and Reading curriculum aligned with school standards and New York State standards.
• Deliver engaging instruction that develops students’ academic achievement and character skills.
• Use student data and ongoing assessments to guide instructional decisions and track progress.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction for students requiring additional support.
• Communicate student results with families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other teachers and demonstrate hirify.global’s character strengths in interactions with students, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area is strongly preferred.
• At least two years of teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a collegial, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated success in raising student achievement within hirify.global communities.
