Diesel Mechanic/Technician

Location: Ottawa, IL, USA; on-site full-time role

Salary: $28.75–$37.17 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment.
• Inspect vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and identify potential faults.
• Complete oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work.
• Troubleshoot common equipment faults using standard procedures and maintenance tools.
• Complete company training programs and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Certified diesel maintenance training and ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification are advantageous but not required.
