Construction Manager (Solar)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Pomeroy, Washington, United States; travel required.

Salary: $105,927–$140,883 annually.

hirify.global provides infrastructure services for the power industry, including utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high-voltage substation projects. The role operates within SDI Services, a hirify.global affiliate specializing in solar predrill and pile foundation installation.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and supervise solar construction projects from inception through completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, workforce coordination, procurement, contracts, and documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction quality, safety protocols, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Resolve on-site issues and scope changes while ensuring compliance with building codes, permits, and regulations.
• Lead site teams and maintain effective communication throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction and solar industry practices, construction processes, equipment operation, and site management.
• Experience with project management, scheduling, budgeting, financial management, risk assessment, and quality control.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations, building codes, permitting, and industry legal requirements.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, CPR/First Aid certification, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification or relevant state licensure.
• Relevant construction management certifications.
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in construction.
