Construction Site Superintendent (Hydrogen)

Location: Remote in the United States, with frequent domestic travel to customer deployment sites and up to 100% travel

Salary: $69,900–$104,900 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate on-site construction and commissioning activities for hydrogen fueling infrastructure systems.
• Oversee construction crews, subcontractors, industrial gas companies, contractors, suppliers, permitting agencies, and municipal inspections.
• Manage schedules, daily site logs, progress reports, project priorities, staging, equipment, manpower, and temporary utilities.
• Monitor budgets, construction quality, safety, security, and compliance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
• Lead job-site meetings, identify non-compliance or schedule risks, and escalate issues for resolution.
• Communicate with the internal project team, project manager, and end customers to meet deployment commitments.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a relevant vocational or college degree is preferred.
• At least three years of experience as a site superintendent on industrial construction projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the domestic United States and stay at deployment locations, up to 100% of the time.
• Experience in construction management, scheduling and planning, quality control, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and P&IDs.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and follow-through skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with hydrogen or fuel cells, cryogenic systems, high-pressure systems of 250 bar or higher, gas processing or dispensing equipment, oil and gas, CNG, LNG, logistics, or material handling.
• Vocational or college education in a relevant field.
