Functional Business Consultant - Service (IFS Cloud)

Location: Otto-Hahn-Straße, 56218 Mülheim-Kärlich-Mülheim, Germany; hybrid working model with flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve end-to-end Service processes, including Installed Base, Service Contracts, Work Orders, Service Execution, and Billing.
• Provide functional ownership and configuration for Service capabilities in IFS Cloud and additional Service-related applications.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable functional system solutions and assess process fit, business impact, and technical fit.
• Analyze incidents, problems, and change requests, perform root-cause analysis, and support testing, releases, and quality assurance.
• Drive changes into productive solutions, coordinate external service providers, and facilitate workshops with Service, Operations, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Train key users and maintain clear process and solution documentation to support adoption and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Service processes in an industrial, asset-based, or project-driven environment.
• Hands-on experience with IFS Cloud Service modules is preferred.
• Ability to work with heterogeneous application landscapes and understand interactions across the Service value chain.
• Ability to assess business requirements and translate them into sustainable functional solutions.
• Structured, analytical, and pragmatic working style with a strong ownership mindset and confident communication with business and IT stakeholders.
• Very good English skills required; German is a plus.
