Processing Technician C- Weekends (6th Shift) (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Lakewood, New Jersey, USA. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM; Monday and Tuesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Salary: $32.75 per hour plus shift differential

What you will do

• Transfer semi-finished products between vessels, tote run tanks, storage containers, and production lines.
• Add dry and liquid raw materials to blenders and main vessels, including manual additions throughout most of the workday.
• Operate automated HMI-controlled processes, multiple blenders, vacuum systems, hoses, batch hoppers, and the LPD skid.
• Perform washouts, purges, batch changes, sampling, labeling, and production paperwork.
• Stage batches with a forklift and manage bulk liquid and dry inventory in the WMS system.
• Follow batch sheets, FDA requirements, SOPs, GMPs, JSAs, OSHA forklift procedures, PPE requirements, and New Jersey laws for hazardous-chemical handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience as a compounder or batch maker in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Chemical aptitude and experience with chemical mixing and batching processes.
• Forklift certification, basic math skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to operate automated systems.
• Ability to work with corrosives, acids, toxic materials, oxidizers, and high-temperature products while following all safety procedures.
• Ability to pass a respiratory fit test and wear a respirator. Effective English communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and teamwork are required.
