Personal Banker I or II (DOE) (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at the Monroe Branch, 1812 W. Monroe St., Phoenix, AZ 85007, United States

Salary: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build relationships with members and provide trusted advice based on their financial needs.
• Open accounts, onboard new members, identify relevant products, and conduct client-focused outreach.
• Facilitate loan applications for underwriting and conduct loan closings.
• Analyze member financial information and support banking through branch, internet, mobile, and ATM channels.
• Expand the customer base through networking and community events.
• Perform teller activities and transactions according to branch needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of related experience in customer service, sales, or another client-facing role.
• Strong relationship-building and client-focused sales skills.
• Excellent verbal, phone, email, internet, and writing skills.
• Ability to complete credit and criminal background checks and comply with applicable banking regulations, including BSA, AML, the USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.

Nice to have

• One year of cash-handling experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• NMLS registration if the role meets the definition of a mortgage loan originator at a federally regulated institution.
