Fabricating Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Corrugated Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee finishing machines and personnel involved in folding, gluing, waxing, stripping, and bundling.
• Plan shift work orders with the Production Manager and Shift Supervisor, maintain production flow, and reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Schedule work, supervise employees, approve time records, and support hiring, promotion, disciplinary, and employee development decisions.
• Maintain safe, clean, and injury-free operations and provide ongoing training on equipment, production standards, safety, and waste control.
• Inspect materials, products, and equipment; verify job quality and investigate customer complaints related to finishing quality.
• Analyze performance, set improvement goals, and recommend process and equipment enhancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of corrugated manufacturing experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
• Knowledge of corrugated and packaging manufacturing, department machinery, safety practices, continuous improvement, and shop-floor software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, mechanical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Some college education or manufacturing training.
• Previous supervisory experience involving training, team building, performance development, and conflict resolution.
