Business Process Transformation Consultant (AI)

Location: Charlotte, NC, USA. Hybrid flexibility is available, but employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or hirify.global office as requested. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead business process improvement and transformation initiatives across processes, products, systems, and governance practices.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and advise on business, operational, compliance, and technology considerations.
• Use AI-enabled tools, process mining, task mining, and process intelligence to discover current-state processes, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause, gap, risk, and data analysis; translate findings into recommendations, controls, monitoring strategies, and future-state improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, data modeling, interfaces, state transitions, and enterprise integrations.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, prioritized backlogs, acceptance criteria, and rollout readiness plans while coordinating integration and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with process improvement, governance, risk and compliance, IT-related projects, or related process engineering work.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, conducting structured analysis, creating process and data flow diagrams, and defining mitigations.
• Experience with governance and control frameworks, process/control mapping, data analytics, and enterprise technology environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Visio, agile project management software such as JIRA, software development lifecycle concepts, and agile methodologies.
• Must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States; hirify.global cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with process mining, task mining, or process intelligence tools.
• Consulting experience and knowledge of modern IT architecture, including cloud and APIs.
• Awareness of object-oriented development practices and organizational object definition.
