Civil Project Manager

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan; Central Michigan or West Michigan region. Full-time, on-site role. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead project teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Define project scope, deliverables, staffing requirements, work plans, and phase schedules.
• Communicate with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants about project risks, schedules, budgets, logistics, and change management.
• Prepare bid packages, manage the construction management bidding process, and participate in hard-bid teams.
• Coordinate estimating, scheduling, value engineering, reporting, and project planning services.
• Establish subcontract agreements and work scopes while leading trade contractor relations and overseeing project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role with progressive responsibilities.
• Training or completed coursework in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background screening.
