Sr. Supervisor, Production (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California. Onsite production role with a regular schedule of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 6:00am to 6:15pm.

Salary: $104,600–$137,235 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations in a high-volume, high-precision semiconductor fab to meet throughput, quality, cost, cycle-time, and on-time delivery objectives.
• Execute production schedules, capacity plans, and work priorities across assigned tools and processes while monitoring yield, equipment utilization, scrap, and other KPIs.
• Directly supervise and develop manufacturing technicians and operators through shift meetings, coaching, performance check-ins, corrective action, training, scheduling, and timekeeping.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, formal performance reviews, and succession development planning.
• Enforce safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, EHS standards, ISO requirements, quality systems, and fab operating procedures; participate in audits, corrective actions, and root-cause investigations.
• Lead kaizen events, standard-work creation, and process-improvement initiatives while coordinating with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, technicians, and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with cleanroom operations and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience leading people and supervising manufacturing technicians and operators.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles, including problem solving focused on efficiency, yield, and cycle time.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate production status, risks, and corrective actions clearly.
