Process Engineer – Etch (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Sustain and develop etch processes for high-volume manufacturing, reducing process variability and defectivity.
• Develop recipes, optimize processes, and improve process robustness using statistical tools, DOE, and data-driven problem solving.
• Monitor production processes through SPC, improve Cpk, and troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Support FinFET, Si Photonics, and other semiconductor technology manufacturing processes.
• Drive throughput improvement, cost reduction, yield learning, and continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Train shift technicians and collaborate with equipment suppliers, engineering, process integration, contamination control, cost management, and quality teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
• At least 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or an engineering-related position.
• Experience with SPACE SPC tools, FMEA line yield improvements, and Corrective Action Specifications.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, Design of Experiments, tool matching, and equipment performance improvements.
• Ability to support a 24x7 high-volume manufacturing environment and comply with environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.
