Sr. Process Engineer - Photolithography (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Fully onsite at Fab9 in Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Salary: $69,000–$120,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Own and sustain existing photolithography processes and support product disposition for non-process-of-record events.
• Develop new processes and execute qualification plans for lithography chemicals and next-generation photolithography tools.
• Collaborate with equipment, integration, characterization, development, and manufacturing teams to improve process and tool performance.
• Improve statistical process control, yield, cycle time, cost, and output standards.
• Create, execute, and improve standard work while coordinating information exchange across modules and support groups.
• Work in a cleanroom for up to eight hours per day while wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant semiconductor experience; advanced photolithography experience is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Applied knowledge of photolithography and familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, structured problem solving, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and etch.
• Ability to lead projects, take initiative, communicate clearly, and organize work effectively.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or materials science.
• 4+ years of relevant semiconductor experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean manufacturing and TWI.
• Understanding of hirify.global systems in Essex, Vermont.
