Shift Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite in West Chicago, IL, United States, near St. Charles, IL. Second-shift hours: 2:15 pm–11:00 pm.

Annual base salary: $93,600–$105,300, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5%.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate production activities and hourly employees on the assigned shift, including scheduling, machine crewing, vacation coverage, absence coverage, and overtime.
• Ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance, lead shift safety teams and programs, and comply with EPA, OSHA, and other applicable requirements.
• Deliver productivity, cost, quality, and other performance targets while implementing and maintaining best manufacturing practices.
• Coordinate production scheduling to meet customer demand, manage overtime, minimize inventory, and reduce costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S with safety, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing, and identify and implement capital projects.
• Hire, train, mentor, coach, and develop employees; support quality checks and audits, employee relations, labor relations, contract negotiations, and shift documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering is strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Availability to work the second shift from 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm.
