Production Supervisor, Mold

What you will do

• Supervise union production personnel and manage safety, production, quality, and schedule performance for the Foundry Molding area during the assigned shift.
• Prepare and monitor daily and weekly shift work plans, including staffing, to meet production targets.
• Maximize production uptime based on trained staffing and equipment availability.
• Coordinate staffing and training plans for key operational areas.
• Participate in quality and safety reviews and audits supporting ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
• Work with Human Resources and the Foundry Manager to apply the union contract fairly and minimize production disruptions.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• At least 2 years of heavy industrial production experience in a high-volume setting.
• Union experience is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and team-building skills with subordinates and peers.
• Professional PC literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to obtain a tow motor license and successfully complete LOTO and confined-space training.
