Sr. Recovery Specialist

Location: Corporate Office, 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027, United States

Target hiring range: $21.12–$26.40 per hour, depending on experience and before eligible incentives.

What you will do

• Contact members with delinquent accounts by telephone and mail, determine the reasons for delinquency, and help establish plans to bring accounts current.
• Secure payment arrangements for past-due and charged-off loans, credit cards, share accounts, mortgages, and lines of credit.
• Research account and transaction activity, use skip-tracing tools, and update member demographics and collection activity in recovery systems.
• Prepare hardship and deferment information and submit recommendations for repossession, settlements, legal action, or charge-offs.
• Handle inbound calls, maintain member service standards, and manage escalations and exceptions with leadership.
• Support credit reporting, bankruptcy and repossession servicing, lien-position checks, GAP warranty follow-up, and daily payment reconciliation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related loan adjustment or collections experience required.
• Knowledge of credit reporting, bankruptcy, repossession, and collection procedures.
• Ability to work at the corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Authorization for a credit and criminal background check is required.
• Compliance with applicable policies and regulations, including BSA, AML, the USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.
