Collections Specialist - Bilingual (English/ Spanish) required

Location: Irving, Texas, USA; in-office Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm

Salary: $20–$22 per hour, plus monthly performance-based bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Contact customers by phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding balances.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements within company guidelines.
• Monitor payment arrangements and submit accounts to third-party collections when appropriate.
• Prepare weekly collection activity reports and provide accurate client status updates.
• Conduct skip tracing and record collection activities in the internal financial database.
• Maintain professional customer service while following collection laws and company policies.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in unsecured debt collections.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication required.
• Experience with multifamily property management required.
• Successful experience in agency or bad debt recovery.
• Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word; knowledge of collection regulations is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to collection procedures.
• Knowledge of Yardi.
