EPC Project Manager, Utility Scale Solar (Harriburg, IL)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite assignment in Harrisburg, Illinois, with extensive travel of at least 50% and lengthy assignments in remote or rural areas.

Salary: $110,448–$138,060 per year.

What you will do

• Manage utility-scale solar EPC projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and closeout.
• Plan and oversee self-performed construction scopes, large labor crews, sequencing, productivity targets, labor spend, and field execution.
• Lead contract administration, change-order and claim negotiations, subcontractor and material buyout, billing, collections, and compliance with contract terms.
• Manage project safety, quality control, risk mitigation, site-specific quality plans, documentation, and warranty follow-up.
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, contract labor providers, owners, architects, superintendents, and project partners to maintain schedule and resolve logistics challenges.
• Lead and mentor the project team while organizing regular owner and partner meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture is preferred.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale PV plant construction methods, sequencing, techniques, and utility and ISO interconnection timelines.
• Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, contract law, and project accounting.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and industry tools such as Bluebeam Revu; CMiC experience is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
