Electrical Engineering Manager (HV Infrastructure)

Location: Remote-based in the Philippines, Metro Manila; working hours are 6:00AM to 3:00PM Philippine time, aligned with Australian/New Zealand business hours.

Salary: PHP275,000–PHP306,000 per month.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain engineering systems, standards, procedures, workflows, tools, and documentation.
• Provide technical oversight from feasibility through construction and commissioning.
• Lead technical design reviews and ensure quality, consistency, and compliance across engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate external consultants and subcontractors across project engineering activities.
• Support project planning, scoping, proposals, tenders, and stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor the internal engineering team and drive continuous improvement in delivery outcomes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally in high-voltage or power systems.
• Experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of transmission infrastructure, substations, and grid connection projects.
• Ability to review and oversee primary and secondary engineering disciplines.
• Experience coordinating civil and electrical interfaces in infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing external consultants or contractors.

Nice to have

• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS).
