What you will do

  • Lead global product regulatory compliance and product stewardship activities across the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor, track, interpret, and implement emerging laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, compliance reviews, corrective actions, and regulatory readiness.
  • Review compliance risks, supplier documentation, product data, raw material introductions, and lifecycle requirements.
  • Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets, product labels, and related technical documentation.
  • Prepare product registrations, certifications, notifications, and responses to customer and regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field; significant relevant industry experience may substitute.
  • 5+ years of experience in global product regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or chemical regulatory affairs.
  • Advanced knowledge of global chemical regulations, including REACH, TSCA, and GHS, plus SDS authoring, hazard communication, labeling, and product stewardship.
  • Experience with regulatory impact assessments, submissions, supplier documentation, product registrations, raw material approvals, and product lifecycle compliance.
  • Ability to interpret product drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation, and to collaborate across QHSE, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, and Materials/Laboratory teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with ERP systems and regulatory data management tools.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification or specialized training in product stewardship, regulatory compliance, chemical management, or SDS authoring.
