Market Quality Compliance Manager

Location: West Los Angeles, California, USA. Hybrid schedule with required in-office work Monday–Wednesday and remote work available Thursday and Friday. Includes 10% travel.

Salary: USD 117,000–135,000 per year, with a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage regulatory and market compliance for products sold in domestic and international markets, including labeling requirements and market-entry readiness.
• Oversee product traceability, disposition of non-conforming products, destruction documentation, and audit compliance.
• Analyze and report cost-of-quality data, including waste, rework, recalls, and non-conformance costs, through executive dashboards.
• Manage EPR reporting, packaging and recycling obligations, PCR documentation, certifications, and sustainability target tracking.
• Maintain quality and compliance systems aligned with ISO, HACCP, food safety, and audit requirements.
• Lead risk mitigation, compliance investigations, recall-readiness exercises, process improvements, and cross-functional guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quality, compliance, or regulatory roles within FMCG or beverage industries.
• Strong knowledge of international labeling and food safety regulations, including multi-country frameworks across Asia, the EU, APAC, and the US.
• Experience with analytical reporting and cost-of-quality metrics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel 10% of the time.

• Experience with EPR, sustainability reporting, and packaging compliance.
• Experience with PCR plastic usage, food-grade recycled-material compliance, and supplier traceability.
