Global Product Regulatory Specialist (Chemical Regulatory)

What you will do

• Lead global product regulatory compliance activities and provide senior-level guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor, interpret, and translate regulatory developments into product, process, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct product regulatory compliance and risk reviews throughout the product lifecycle with QHSE, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Materials Lab, and other teams.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, compliance reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets, product labels, raw material introduction programs, and related product documentation.
• Prepare product registrations, certifications, notifications, and responses to customer and regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field; significant relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in global product regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or chemical regulatory affairs.
• Advanced knowledge of chemical regulations and product compliance frameworks, including REACH, TSCA, and GHS.
• Experience with SDS authoring, hazard communication, product labeling, regulatory submissions, supplier documentation, and product lifecycle assessments.
• Ability to interpret product drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation, and to analyze regulatory data and risks.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, stakeholder-influencing, documentation, and project coordination skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and regulatory data tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Professional certification or specialized training in product stewardship, regulatory compliance, chemical management, or SDS authoring.
