House Manager

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, USA; on-site every day

Salary: USD 55,700–62,300 per year, based on education level.

What you will do

• Oversee the operations of approximately 2–4 assigned residential group-home programs.
• Supervise direct-care staff and manage programs serving 1–4 residents per home.
• Develop, maintain, and review ISPs, BSPs, and IPPs.
• Manage household and individual budgets, employee schedules, team meetings, and staff orientation.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and develop employees; conduct investigations and initiate disciplinary actions or terminations when needed.
• Partner regularly with families, case managers, and other stakeholders while performing both administrative and direct-care duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience, including hiring, discipline, and termination responsibilities.
• At least 1 year of full-time direct experience working with people with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience with mental health is preferred.
• Successful background clearance, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance are required.
• Availability for typical Monday–Friday office hours, plus flexible on-call rotation coverage including weekends and unusual hours.
