Director of Dining Services

Location: Briarcliff Manor, New York, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: From $95,000 yearly; hourly rate of $45.00–$46.00

What you will do

• Oversee daily dining services operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage purchasing of food and nonfood supplies, maintain budgets, and achieve required ordering compliance.
• Direct meal production using standard recipes while ensuring proper temperatures, portions, food safety, and prescribed diets.
• Improve resident dining satisfaction by providing choice, dignity, independence, and attentive hospitality.
• Maintain clean, safe dining areas and implement operating, cleaning, sanitation, and audit procedures.
• Hire, train, schedule, manage, discipline, and terminate dining personnel as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of previous food service experience.
• ServSafe certification and/or other required local, county, or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to provide clear direction respectfully and communicate effectively with different personalities.
• Attention to food quality, presentation, kitchen cleanliness, and dining area safety.
• Ability to work onsite in Briarcliff Manor, New York, USA.
