(USA) Human Resource Manager (Grocery - Full & MDC)

Location: Robert, Louisiana, United States; onsite, full-time

Annual salary: $84,000–$126,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day HR functions, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, associate relations, and HR programs.
• Execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives and monitor completion of required training.
• Supervise, evaluate, coach, mentor, and develop associates, leaders, and managers.
• Investigate and resolve concerns raised by applicants, associates, customers, and suppliers.
• Maintain HR documentation and systems while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Support facility goals, operational improvements, quality standards, safety requirements, and community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of HR generalist experience, including one year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees; or equivalent qualifying Walmart or broader supervisory and HR process experience.
• Experience with HR processes such as payroll, workers' compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, staffing, organizational planning, or training and development.
• Ability to manage workloads, participate in hiring and promotion decisions, and advise on employment-related issues.
• Must work full-time at the Robert, Louisiana location.

Nice to have

• Experience with benefits, compensation, human resources, departmental payroll, or challenging workforce issues.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Degree in business, finance, human resources, logistics, management, or operations management.
