Human Resource Manager (Grocery - Full & MDC)

Location: Onsite at 5100 S Brookhart Dr Ste 100, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701, United States

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Oversee daily HR functions, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, recruiting, staffing, training, and associate relations.
• Supervise, evaluate, coach, and develop associates, leaders, and managers while supporting hiring and promotion decisions.
• Implement business plans and operational improvements to achieve facility goals related to production, quality, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, quality and safety standards, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Investigate and resolve concerns raised by associates, customers, suppliers, applicants, and managers.
• Serve as a community liaison through local organizations, charitable activities, and company-sponsored programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of HR generalist experience, including one year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees.
• Alternatively, one year as a hirify.global Logistics Human Resources Manager or Human Resources Office Manager with relevant supervisory and HR process experience.
• Alternatively, three years of experience supervising and developing employees, including one year managing HR processes such as staffing, payroll, workers' compensation, or benefits.
• Ability to manage HR documentation, systems, data, employment concerns, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively, build collaborative relationships, and make decisions using data and analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with benefits, compensation, departmental payroll, challenging workforce issues, and associate supervision.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources, logistics, management, or operations management.
