Crop Claims Supervisor - Illinois

Location: Illinois, United States — remote role with full-time field work required throughout Hancock, McDonough, Fulton, Cass, Brown, Schuyler, Adams, Pike, Scott, Morgan, Sangamon, Christian, Macoupin, Greene, Jersey, Calhoun, and Montgomery counties and surrounding areas.

Salary: $93,200–$128,150 base pay annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead and oversee crop insurance claim investigations and settlements within the assigned district.
• Guide claims personnel through claim investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Monitor performance metrics and improve efficiency, consistency, and adherence to claims policies and procedures.
• Coordinate goals and operational priorities across assigned claims areas.
• Manage staff development, succession planning, and employee development activities.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans, employee contact information, and disaster communications.

Requirements

• 6 or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Experience with crop claims investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and settlements.
• Ability to interpret coverage and follow regulatory, company, and claims procedures.
• Availability for full-time field work within the specified Illinois territory and surrounding areas.
